Cookware for your littlest chef

Cookware for your littlest chef
When dinnertime hits in our home I have to come up with clever ways to keep my littlest one entertained. Otherwise I find myself tripping over her while going from stovetop to countertop and back again. While the hastily assembled pot-and-pan band works it is more than my eardrums can handle - and shouting over the noise only adds to the chaos that is my kitchen.

The other day I found the perfect toy set for keeping the littlest chef happy while Mom or Dad preps for dinner. Infantino Baby’s three-piece Lil’ Chef Set is not your typical toy kitchen set. The measuring spoons, salt shaker and pot are adorned with happy faces and bright colors. The spoons clack, the peek-and-see pot rattles and the salt shaker is full of bouncing beads. We have toy cookware but they aren’t nearly as cool as these!

And if your child wants to take her cookware on the road, each piece of the Lil’ Chef Set comes with a plastic ring that easily attaches to a stroller or car seat. Turn the volume down on your kitchen chaos by purchasing Infantino Baby’s Lil’ Chef Set for $11 from Amazon.com. - Emily H.

I recommend buying your little ones real sets of measuring spoons and cups. Good quality stainless steel spoons on a loop are as cheap as the plastic toy ones, they make a cool sound when you bang them around, and they can be used to make stuff as your kid gets older. Kids *love* to play with food so this would be a “toy” they can grow up using…
