Baby wipes need to stay nice and moist, so they pose a slight storage problem when they are out of their original container. The travel containers are kind of big and boxy for my own taste, so instead, I use recycled breast-milk freezer bags.
Once the breast milk freezer bag no longer holds frozen breastmilk, just wash it out in hot soapy water. You don’t even need to dry it - the rinse water will just help keep the wipes moist. Grab a handful of wipes and stuff them in the little bag, and then shove that into the diaper bag, your purse, your stroller gear hammock, whatever.
We have four or five little baggies of wipes that rotate around all the baby gear so that we are never wanting for clean wipes. This technique would even work for
re-usable flannel wipes- just only place one moist flannel wipe in each bag, so that the bag instantly becomes a safe dry storage bag for the dirty wipe once it gets used.
